The Importance of Rationality in Politics

I think that like, people are not really rational, and in a lot of circumstances, the thing that is leading to people using their power too much. For example, it would have benefited both kind of electorally and long term politically for more governors to ban CRT. I think that those who abide by basic rationality norms should wield that power more.
