The Airport Strike and the Strike on Saturday
Dozens of flights to and from sripple airport were cancelled because of a wild cat strike by klam ground crew. The strike on one of the busiest days of the year led to long cues which reached outside the main terminal building. Airport expected to process around 500 thousand people at the start of the may school holidays. Four motor way exits to the airport were also closed for a time as a safety measure.
