If you put the goal post further away, then it's likely t more likely that you'll be pleasantly surprised. A friend of mine runs a fitness business and he has not been able to run classes over the past few weeks. He was actually saying to me: 'I know i'm needed a break for ages' So if you're constantly building up stress, why not take an opportunity to recuperate in two months or so? You don't have to feel as anxious because it's something that's further away. It is about giving yourself perspective.
