In 2008, going into the Lehman event, the Fed's balance sheet was 875 billion. It blew up to two and a half trillion by the end of the 2008 nine crisis. We're now just below nine, we're up over nine and we pulled back a little bit. But we put five trillion into the system where the Fed expanded their balance sheet by five trillion during the pandemic.
