Celestia's Role in Cosmos for App Specific Chains

Celestia and cosmos share this vision of sovereignty which is that not everyone should be building their applications on one shared monolithic state machine. A lot of people build Monolithic blockchains that don't actually like the blockchain still is monolithic and not modular anyway. It's so difficult for them to add something like account abstraction or there's been so many improvements to the EVM that people want like Parallization. Why is it so hard because there's only one state machine that everyone has to share and any changes could break Everyone else's.
