Ams created last october by somebody named josh wardle w a r d l e. Now he has nearly three million players. The magic, as you can see from your first wardle experience is that five letter word. You get six guesses at it, and it tells you the letters you got right, and also whether you got them in the right position. There's one puzzle a day. He deliberately didn't include push notifications or build in other tools commonly used to pull in users into playing aps for as long as possible.
