Nanoparticle Delivery - The Holy Grail of the Delivery
In your lab, you get 90% of the liver cells transduced. I think we're much less good at getting nanoparticles to other organs. One thing I've also been thinking about lately is like Duchenne muscular dystrophy and what it's going to take to have nanoparticles distribute essentially all throughout the body. We have, you know, adeno-associated viruses that are capable of homing to these particular tissues. So I wonder if there's inspiration we can learn somehow how to alter our non-viral delivery systems to achieve that kind of delivery.
