Over the past two years, more than 250,000 migrant children have come alone to the United States. Most of the children have ended up in punishing jobs across the U.S., including slaughterhouses and factories. The Biden administration has pledged to deal humanely with all of them. But there were signs of the explosive growth of this labor force - warnings that the Biden administration ignored or missed.
