Is There a Collection in Here?

I started writing the poems that make up the collection with no thought at all about a collection. Bu i write toward what's on my mind and what captivates me. My mentor, juliet patterson, a poet, i admire great dm asked me to print the poems that i written in the last three to five years. And so i did that. I opened the folders and i printed all the poems. There's something about a stack of poems that makes you start thinking maybe i have a collection in here.
