How Can I Slash Simplicity?
In the Western world, materialism has become the new dominant system of meaning. Jesus' practice of simplicity was not a morose, duty-based kind of legalism. It came out of his acute self-awareness of his heart's deepest longing to live with the Father and at the Father's pleasure. The goal is to identify what you really want to make space for so you can decide what to clear out.
