The Unofficial Revolution of the Prelature
John Paul approved statutes that gave a different vision of the prelature than did the law. JP two was so enamored with ecclesial movements, he wasn't careful about scrutinizing them or their legal constructs. Francis has in some specific cases sort of taking up as his own. The tension is created by this decision of JP two to create a prelature which deviated from the laws for it.
