How to Love a Narcissus

A narcissus has to work very hard at spinning reality, because real doesn't match what's really going on in their head. They will exaggerate their talents and spin off into these werl whimsical ideas of themselves that are not supported by reality. When you try to explain how you feel to a narcissus, which is something i gave up trying to do with people like my dad, they don't get it. All they feel is what they needed in the moment. And even though this person might say, i love you, i care about you, in the back of your head, you'll wonder, do they like me?"
