The Grizzlies are relying on heavy help at the basket from guys like Santiago, Dama, Jared Jackson, Jr. in order to try and slow down the dribble penetration from the Los Angeles Lakers. They just did not have an answer for this because they couldn't figure out who was supposed to help from the low side of the court. You'll notice again, after those first two sets that the Lakers run with this action, where Jared Vanderbilt was the player in the corner, a smart adjustment from Darvenham takes Jared Vanderbilt off of the court, even though John Moran is still on the court.
