McCarthy's War on the Uma Ferry

The Uma ferry was originally run by a merchant that they killed their presence actively engaged the US military to come out there and provide safe passage. This is what provokes the human Indians to attack the ferry club Ganton to death, Glanton to death and murder several others as a result of this debacle the US military sends a contingent of troops to man the ferry  and allow safe passage of emigrants for the next 30 years now.
