Benny Benwick is a widower or no he was intended to marry excuse me um Captain Harville's sister and both of these guys are friends of Captain Wentworth from the Navy you know. And Benwick is I don't think that song was about the English Navy. But then she thinks she says this about poetry kind of through the narrator's voice.
