The Little Man and the Inner Triangle

Trying to explain the mind, we often fall into a particular fallacy. The Latin for little man is homunculus. And the little man, maybe it's your central executive or something, says triangle. That's how it works, right? It sounds like I'm giving a mechanical explanation. Because that means I haven't snuck anything in.
