The CBDC: A New Bretton Woods Moment
I tend to think of the CBDC as, I mean, I don't think they're going to be backing it in their mind. They don't think that government money needs any backing other than the fact that you have a bunch of central bankers get on TV and tell you we know what we're doing. The vast majority is already digital and it has been for a long time. And the digital percentage could reduce the increase over time. So my hunch here is that this is going to be some kind of new Bretton Woods moment," he said.
