How to Deal With Literacy Rates Amongst English Language Learners
There's more funding for language learning than there was for helping students catch up. I got into the Stuart Hall code switching thing and validation of an own language while teaching people to speak, quote, standard English. There is no standard English anywhere, particularly in the United States. But let's just say white middle class English. And you just treated as like you have two languages, even though they're both varieties of English. So one of the things to bring it back to you, think about books in the home.
