Introduction
In other areas of science, we pretty much have a feel like we know what we're talking about. We are not quite as sure that it's true as we are in mathematics. Even though we've known all the stuff for a long time, we still have not made much progress on figuring out what the math is about. So I'm going to say a little bit about these issues and connect them with science and give you some sort of insights from Augustine, Aquinas, and Galileo.
