Disorientation and Reorientation in the Psalms

Disorientation is a theme throughout scripture. Walter brugeman, who is an author and at theologian, wrote extensively about the psalms. He talked about orientation, disorientation and reorientation. These are the songs where we re orient back to god. The text we read this morning is what many commentators agree as the theological nerve centre of the book of mark. It isn't until chapter ten that mark actually tells us where they're going.
