Denmark is known for being a happy place and the Winter Swimmers are no exception. The people of Denmark have something which many populations in the world maybe have forgotten more than we have, they say. So I was surprised that this saying about winter swimmers being very happy, that was actually true. They were so happy and positive about my studies, about being there and being part of this. And I think that is a phenotype for winter swimmers, which we can debate maybe more of the physiological reasons for later.
