I would say the parenta lives. It may be most important when you see the benefits, where you see the participation of both mothers and fathers. The bonds between fathers and children, they are stronger than before. Of course, at the beginning, the hope was that the parental leave might mit help to bridge the wage gap. But that did not happen. Not here in iceland, a few years ago, there was an agreement on on the so called equal pay standard. We haven't seen any real results but there has been a lot of work on this.
