i was thinking to day about a book that i reread frequently, and which is by an author who i i think isn't really well understood by the greater culture. Its susan steinberk, who is a california writer in the bay area. And you know, the entire construction of gender, engendered violence. You can't just throw it on to a screen. It's not consumable in that it is made of language.
