Lewis Carroll - A Memoir of a Teacher
Carroll graduated from Oxford with a first class degree, top of his class. He was offered a teaching position at the university but decided to stay on. His students were not particularly fond of their new young teacher. But he developed a reputation for himself as a well-respected scholar and academic. Carroll also published papers and books under his real name Charles Dodgson. In 1856, aged just 24, he published his first literary work, Solitude. This was the first time he used his pen name, or fake name, Lewis Carroll.
