The Importance of Community in Smaller Areas
There are 40 million black people in this country. I want us to be able to look at that and consider all of those things. And what it's probably more important for me to do is focus on the health and the vibrancy, or should I say, of black people in smaller areas. What does my community in South Baton Rouge look like? What do the communities out here in LA that I can affect look like and how are they dealing? "Stop worrying about conversation from seeing the shine"
