So we can use your model in order to predict the colors of flames when elements burn - but we are not forced to believe in the existence of atoms. We don't need a best explanation. That's not what science is about. Science is merely about predicting the outcome of experiments. It's just a useful mathematical model. But you're not forced to actually believe in theexistence of atoms.
