The Trigeminal Nerve and Substance P
The trigeminal nerve has a hundred times more dense pain fibreus than any other nerve in your body. When this function gets disturbed, it leads to an elevated panor transmitter called substance p. Substance p is probably the oldest pain recepting molecule and slugs even have it. It opens up cell membranes and makes cells become less efficient so you can't etalks if you're sub levels or too high.
