The a-Line Trial: Early Versus Late Anticoagulation in Patients With Stroke
The A-line trial was done in Europe and they basically just randomized patients post-stroke to early versus late anticoagulation. Primary outcome is this composite of everything bad that can occur. They expressed that difference as a risk difference, 1.2% better, but the 95% confidence intervals went from 2.8% better to 0.5% worse.
