As intense as everything was with the birth, I still don't look at it as traumatic at all. Like you worked so hard. And there was no choice. You just had to do it. It took a while for him to get in my arms because they were doing stuff down there. The hormone rush is crazy. But then at the end of the day, you get a baby. That's what got me through all that. Episode two of the podcast were crying yet again.
