Most economists know very little about other things. It's outside of mathematical theory and statistics. The biggest challenge that academics face to day the world isn't just that they're not interdisciplinary, i think it's where there's a meda understanding missing. We don't understand how much our world view is conditioned on the way we are trained. And so time's economists, i think, forget that.
