How to Be a Successful Mathematician
Mark is a maths teacher at the University of Cambridge. He used to work for oil companies and was doing large scale optimization problems. A chum of mine asked him to talk to his kids about what real mathematicians do. Mark says he resigned from Shell after 40 minutes, 45 minutes in front of 17 children.
