I've the Need to Punish the Poor and Working People

Senate republicans initially proposed giving less direct cash to poor people and more to more affluent ones. Yet this framework emerged at least twice in the negotiations, as far as i can tell. And then again, when you're tauht what youretalking on now, which is that paying people too much unemployment would disincentivise them from working their their shildily paid jobs. Well, needless to say, thits e's an amendment that is coming up. I don't think it's going to go very far.
