There are going to be times, for instance, I was transporting somebody having a STEMI from a scene to a hospital that my helicopter was not based at. If you want to talk to a facility that doesn't ordinarily get helicopters from your helicopter, trying to get your comm center to patch your helicopters through to this other facility is way more complicated than it ought to be. When you call me and your EMS and you say, do you have any further orders? I interpret that as you don't really know what to do next and you're looking for some help.
