In 2017, the only states which did not have reported cases on Lyme disease were Oklahoma and Hawaii. Nita: Are they moving out of the Northeast? Are they like aging hipsters? Go into the suburbs? I understand that a lot of folks think it's maybe just in the Northeast, but it's been identified in ticks in all the continental U.S., right? Yeah, so the black legged tick species is fairly spread in many places of the U.S. besides the Northeast and the upper Midwest.
