The Expanding Circle Is Expanding for Humanity
There's a limited amount of place in our heart that we are hard wired to search for our tribe, our community. W.E.H. Lecky came up with this phrase called the expanding circle. He said initially we consider only a small circle of people worthy of a moral consideration. But there is a natural limit to that expansion because it has to be engineered within ourselves.
