The Destructive Characteristics of the Market Economy
The state is itself a bureaucratic, top down structure that's also a power base for the bureaucratic control class. So you haven't really moved to a liberation of the working class from subordination to some dominating class. The kind of planning that I'm talking about is the more distributed planning where there's lots of planning going on locally. And then these are all adjusted to each other. Some kind of planning system like that is necessary to overcome the destructive characteristics of the market economy.
