Cho Choo Chiboogi - The Biggest Hit of All

Cho cho chi booge was co written by gabler, but the other song writers were pure country and western writers. Denver darling, one of the writers, was a hill billy singer who recorded songs such as, my little bockaroo,. i've just got to be a cowboy and ding dong polker. While the other writer, von horten, wrote dixie cannonball and mule skinner blues. So cho choo chiboogi was, in conception, a hill Billy boogy. But in louis jordan's hands, it was almost the archetypal rhythm ind blue song - hen far the station with the back on my back.
