Katie and Ray were driving from Alabama to Mississippi when they stopped at a Walgreens in Thomasville. A pharmacy tech asked how she planned to inject it, and Katie said she had plenty of needles at home. She felt dizzy with joy as the pharmacist filled her prescription for 76.92 dollars. They hugged until they were both crying then Ray pulled the vial out of the bag. "'We did it,' Katie said. We did it.'" On the way home, Ray texted his boyfriend about a Cajun goat cheese Alfredo he wanted to cook.
