Socialism and the Congo

In the early 1900s, more and more stories of abuse in the Congo hit the world press. Leopold declared himself a mortal enemy of socialism. He fought against the universal right to vote for all Belgians. The only thing Belgium couldn't forgive him for was being a shitty dad and having a mistress.
