The Importance of Medium Frequency Trading
There are measures and things that can be done to try and reduce the amount of curve fitting that's done when you develop any strategy. The only way you have an edge is if there's something that you believe you know that other people don't. There aren't any edges out there. I just built somebody a strategy recently that's working very nicely. They're not scalable and it is more medium frequency. It's making money, but again, the standard deviation is too high for my taste.
