You Come to Kill David and Here's Your Spiritual Father
The only way for an existing culture to ever be changed is to be subverted by something counter-cultural. This is growing from a subculture into a counter-cultural movement. And it's spreading. Look at 1 Samuel 10. The hierarchical leader is coming into contact with a family and the family is stripping the hierarchy of its identification. He tore off his clothes and lay naked on the ground all day and all night and watched this and prophesied in the presence of Samuel.
