The Importance of Validating Emotions

The INFP is not looking for understanding because they know the core of their being that's impossible. What they're actually looking for is because they're bringing their heart to the world is I know I understand you can't, but will you at least validate my legitimate, nuanced, granular, distinct emotions? And so it really comes down to I can't articulate out loud to you enough of the nuance of my heart to be understood. So therefore I feel misunderstood. It looks like the INFP is looking for understanding at that point.
