I Was a Career Foreign Service Officer and I Become an Ambassador
Dissent is the highest form of patriotism in my opinion and that we get a ton of these submissions. The people that have won these awards have gone on to become ambassadors almost 80% of them so state is one of the only places that acknowledges and encourages dissent it's almost part of the state department's creed.
