The Pros and Cons of Transparency With Salary
More companies are seeking to embrace the philosophy that being open and honest with your employe about all things in an effective way. Transparency can also help to address some unfortunate inequities in compensation that women, as well as minority groups sometimes face. But there are also prasan cons with transparency the company has to acknowledge. When you push for transparency, you encourage it across all levels. If you have an employee that is trying to get a raise with competing offers, person will most likely leave you inside a year anyway. So don't bother. Ah, here's a little bit of advice.
