Rippling: The Next Iteration of Zenofits
Riley: Rippling was sort of the next iteration of Zenofits, but it was a very different market that it entered. When I joined Rippling, we were currently being run out of the basement of Parker's house. We had no paying customers at the time for the most part. So our top of funnel was selling to other YC companies in the batch. Riley: The first day he handed over like a Google sheet of all of his opportunities,. Like that was the CRM that we were using. And then I had to buy a CRM and get us out of Google Docs.
