The Role of Race in Rings of Power

Each, each race, each of Tolkien's races look like a sort of you know a racially diverse Ivy League campus. In our world different populations tend to you know share skin color but it's clear that they weren't that they were doing that and went with sort of the absolute laziest way to do it right. The plot seemed more connected to our actual world whereas rings of power is taking place in a world again where somehow you're in a medieval landscape yet every city looks like Cambridge, Massachusetts.
