Carlo Bonaparte's Legacy
Carlo Bonaparte died in early 1785, at the age of just 38. He never could have guessed that his children would soon be Emperor, Kings, Queens, and Duchesses. With Pally's defeat, the Bonaparte family could easily have slipped into poverty and obscurity. If he lived today, I imagine Carlo Bonaparte would be a small-time DC lobbyist trying to hustle his way to something bigger.
