Neural Pruning Is a Big Part of the Growth Process
When the brain is growing, like i said earlier, all these new connections are forming. But as we experience things, there's connections that simply aren't used. Their redundant connections are useless connections. And these get pruned, or basically they tha they' break effectively. This is due to differences in growthweight between boys and girls. By the time the brain is fully mature, there's actually less neural connections than the peak of brain growth,. That's due to pruning.
