The Magnetic Properties of Spherals
The iron we detected directly by putting the spherals inside an x-ray fluorescence analyzer, which is basically a device that shines x-rays. And so we saw that most of them have mostly iron, basically something like 84% or so, and that explains why they were magnetic. We had a sluicing device, which is being used to find gold, for example, and based on the density of materials that distinguishes them from the background,. but as soon as we started collecting spherals, we realized that we have spherals.
