I saw a brief headline about somebody saying that she shouldn't let your children watch Hocus Pocus because you don't know if what the witches are saying in the movie is real spells and real witchcraft. And I just felt like I had to bring that up because that was a worry of Shakespeare's audiences and seeing Macbeth that these might be real spells. Even though it was just actors performing, they could be unknowingly doing witchcraft and cursing or whatever the audience. So how far we've come.
